Collection of general data and information

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in "server log files", which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (website from which the requested page was called)
  • URL called up
  • Time and date of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data in order to safeguard the legitimate interests of the person responsible or a third party. These interests are to ensure the general functioning of the services.

Cookies

Our website uses "cookies". This is information that is stored on the hard disk of the computer system by the Internet browser used. This identifies a user for the web server.

There are two forms of cookies, "session cookies" and "persistent cookies".

Session cookies

These cookies serve to make the website more user-friendly. In principle, you can also view our website without cookies. To do this, you can deactivate the use of cookies in your Internet browser. However, we would like to point out that by deactivating cookies you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

SSL encryption

In order to protect and secure your personal data collected by us, for example via a web form, we use state-of-the-art HTTPS encryption methods.

Contact form

If a person concerned contacts us by email or via a contact form, the personal data (name, email address, message) voluntarily transmitted by the person concerned are automatically stored. This serves the purpose of assigning the request and subsequently responding to it. Data may be forwarded to WISKA allied partner companies, should they be the responsible sales representative within the WISKA sales network, e. g. abroad, to serve the enquiry. Data will not be further transferred to third parties. After the storage purpose has ceased to apply, personal data will be deleted.

Newsletter

On our website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company's newsletter. The sending of our regularly appearing newsletter to the email address given by you only takes place with your explicit consent. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your email address; no other data will be collected.

When registering for our newsletter we use the "double opt-in" procedure. We log the newsletter order, the sending of a confirmation email as well as the receipt of the requested answer. The data will be used exclusively for the use of our newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

In the sense of your right of revocation, you can cancel our newsletter at any time. A corresponding link can be found in every newsletter. You can also cancel your newsletter registration on our website.

Data protection for applications

Your personal application data is collected and processed exclusively for the purpose of filling positions within our company. Your personal application data will only be passed on to the persons responsible in our company. Furthermore, your application data will not be passed on to third parties or used in any other way. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant sends us corresponding application documents, for example by email or via a web form on the website.

If we conclude an employment contract with you, the data transmitted by you will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If no employment contract is concluded with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted 6 months after finishing the proceedings. We have taken technical and organisational precautions to protect the data collected in the context of your application against manipulation and unauthorised access.

Use of external services
Embedded YouTube videos (in advanced privacy mode)

Our website complies with embedded YouTube videos. The operator of these pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit our site with the embedded YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube servers is already established to deliver the preview images of the videos. Your IP address will be transmitted to YouTube and the DoubleClick advertising network .
